About the event

The Peru component of IOP 2026 gives participants the opportunity to observe an international cultural festival environment, engage with local creative communities and study international approaches to festival management, cultural programming, performing arts, tourism, creative industries, community engagement, cultural diplomacy and international collaboration.

The programme includes participation and observation during the Trujillo International Spring Festival.

The featured workshop in Peru is Global Visual Arts for Screen and Stage, led by Programme Lead Prince Kojo-Hilton — an international, mobile creative capacity-building programme that exposes visual artists to the hidden career opportunities inside film production and theatre ecosystems, through masterclasses, hands-on practical workshops and a public exhibition.
