In a landmark step toward strengthening international cultural diplomacy and elevating Ghana's creative economy, the Global Art Connect team has formally engaged the Embassy of Peru in Ghana following the submission of a comprehensive arts, culture, and tourism collaboration proposal.
The proposed initiative, aimed at bridging creative industries, enhancing capacity building, and fostering cross-cultural synergy between West Africa and South America, has received high consideration from Peruvian diplomatic representatives.
A high-level delegation, including the Global Art Connect team and the Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Hon. Gilbert Abeiku Santana, met at the Peruvian Embassy with consulate officials and the Cultural Attaché. The meeting finalized preliminary frameworks to launch joint initiatives celebrating the shared heritage, visual arts, and tourism potential of both nations.
This historic collaboration is expected to open new pathways for artist exchanges, exhibitions, heritage tourism, and cross-border creative industry investment between Ghana, Peru, and the wider Latin American region.

Em um passo histórico para fortalecer a diplomacia cultural internacional e elevar a economia criativa do Gana, a equipe da Global Art Connect formalmente se reuniu com a Embaixada do Peru no Gana após a apresentação de uma proposta abrangente de colaboração em artes, cultura e turismo.
A proposta, voltada a conectar indústrias criativas, fortalecer capacitação e fomentar sinergia transcultural entre a África Ocidental e a América do Sul, recebeu alta consideração dos representantes diplomáticos peruanos.
Uma delegação de alto nível, incluindo a equipe da Global Art Connect e o Vice-CEO da Autoridade de Turismo do Gana, Hon. Gilbert Abeiku Santana, reuniu-se na Embaixada do Peru com funcionários do consulado e o Adido Cultural. A reunião finalizou os marcos preliminares para lançar iniciativas conjuntas que celebram a herança compartilhada, as artes visuais e o potencial turístico de ambas as nações.
