Trevor Georges is a Ghanaian-Brazilian architect, landscape designer, music artist and cultural producer based in Brazil. His architectural practice focuses on sustainable design, including a rammed-earth crèche he designed and donated to an orphanage in Ghana.
As an artist and cultural producer, Trevor is one of the voices building bridges between African and Brazilian cultures. He is the founder and producer of One Love Afrika Festival and co-producer of Sankofa Festival, while also developing educational initiatives such as African Presence nas Escolas, which introduces Afro-cultural heritage and contemporary African culture to young people in Brazilian public schools.
After more than a decade immersed in Rio de Janeiro, Trevor has built a deep connection with Brazilian culture and society, transforming his journey between Ghana and Brazil into a platform for cultural exchange, creativity, sustainable development and Afro-diasporic connection.
Role in the International Orientation Programme — Tutor, Bio-Sustainable Housing. Trevor brings together architectural practice, sustainable design, landscape design, cultural knowledge and practical experience across Ghana and Brazil, introducing participants to the relationship between sustainable architecture, environmentally responsible construction, local materials, community development and cultural context.
