It begins with rigorous grounding in traditional African dance philosophy, body mechanics and technical dexterity, moves into the Noyam technique institutionalised by the late Prof. Francis Nii Yartey and the Noyam African Dance Institute, and ends with dancers synthesising that vocabulary inside live music, scenic and technical stage environments.
